We're all entertaining ourselves however we can at home as the pandemic continues. For Charlize Theron, that meant submitting herself to a colorful makeover from one of her daughters. The Bombshell star posted a couple of selfies to her social media accounts on Tuesday showing off the striking look. "To every make up artist out there….. watch out, you've got competition!" she captioned the shots.
It takes a pretty cool mom (especially when she's used to working with top beauty pros) to submit to being her kids' living mannequin. Though the actor doesn't indicate in her tweet whether it's eight-year-old Jackson or four-year-old August who's applying those products, the little one obviously has a penchant for a smokey eye.
Theron doesn't splash too many photos of her kids on her social media, so it seems deliberate that her daughter's face isn't in either of these shots. But this mom is obviously proud of her kiddo's growing creativity. Like the caption implies, every world-class makeup artist has to start somewhere!

1 Theron has always known that she wanted to adopt.
The Old Guard star expanded her family first in 2012 when she adopted Jackson and then further in 2015 when she adopted August.
"My mom has a letter that I wrote to her when I was eight years old," she said in August, speaking with Diane von Furstenberg on the designer's podcast, as reported by Today. "In the letter I ask her if we could, for Christmas, go to an orphanage and adopt a brother or sister for me. She's like, 'You never asked me to have another baby. You never asked me to have a little brother or sister for you. You just immediately went to adoption.'"

2 In 2019, Theron confirmed that her eldest is transgender.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, the actor recalled a three-year-old Jackson telling her that she was not a boy, as Theron had assumed.
"So there you go!" she continued. "I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive. They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide. My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be. And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that."

3 Her kids have grown up partially on set.
Earlier this year, Theron posted a throwback photo from the filming of her 2015 action flick Mad Max: Fury Road, in which she's cradling baby August.
"I became a mom right before we started shooting. At least my child will forever have the fun fact of 'I spent most of the first year of my life in a war rig,'" she wrote.
4 She's perfectly happy with the family she's got.
During a September appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show (via USA Today), Theron told the host that she's been single for the past five years and isn't necessarily looking to change that.
"Once I had my children…it's not that it replaces something or that it makes you less interested in something else," she explained. "I think your priorities are in a place that is of high demand, because it's a lot of work to be a parent. And then part of that is, at the end of the day, I get in bed, and I go, 'Oh my god, I wouldn't want this day to be anything different.'"
